The Moonrats, who are Nathan Thelen, Aska Matsumiya, Jason Echeverria and the newest memeber Peter Lyman, grow more and more popular each day with locals of LA. Nathan left a band called Pretty Girls Make Graves to start the Moonrats in Seattle, before moving to Los Angeles, their current place of residence.

All of the members have a drive and passion in them that is easily seen in the way they play their live shows.

From their singsongesque guitar in Blue White and Red to the Almost Rock not quite Pop sound of EncasodeemergenciaDmechop, the Moonrats have a quaint uniqueness that is sure to please and enrich the soul.

Be sure to watch for the Moonrats to be showing up at a local venue near you. They are putting the finishing touches on a new full length release and a 7". The Moonrats are currently browsing around for a label to call home.

Colour Revolt

Colour Revolt

A small known band hailing from the little known "college/retirement" town of Oxford, Mississippi, Colour Revolt have a modern Rock sound mixed with what can be described as Southern Comfort.

Their first CD, self-titled, features thoughtful lyrics put to a raw high energy sound, with some harmonica on the side.

Colour Revolt concerts can only be described as intense. The intensity is contagious making for a great show. Their fan base has been growing more and more since they began touring, including a small group of people in the LA area of California (as seen above and below, at the 6th Street Warehouse in Downtown LA).

Colour Revolt is releasing there second album, a full length sometime late March early April this year. For the summer they have a tour in planning, of which they hope to cover much ground. Keep your eyes on these guys, they are going places.
